Snug Transcribe is now on the Microsoft Store. This release also tells you when a transcription fails and lets you try again, and it fixes Unlimited not showing up sometimes on Windows and long titles in your library.
Get Snug Transcribe from the Microsoft Store
You can now install Snug Transcribe on your Windows PC from the Microsoft Store. The Store keeps the app up to date for you. The Windows app has every feature the phone app has.
You can see when a transcription fails
A recording whose transcription failed used to look finished, with no text and no reason. You could not tell it apart from a silent recording.
Now the recording shows "Transcription failed" in your library and when you open it. Press "Try again" to continue from where it stopped. Press "Share error log" to send us the log, so we can see what went wrong.
This also covers a PC that transcribes for your phone. When the PC cannot finish a recording, your phone now shows the failure straight away. Before, the recording stayed in the queue.
Fixes and improvements
On Windows, an Unlimited subscription could show as Free. The app now recognises it.
Long titles, such as imported file names, now wrap in the library and stay on the card.
Plus visual and stability improvements throughout the app.
