Version 1.9.6 (July 24 2026)

Big news: Snug Planner is now live in the Apple App Store! This release also introduces labels, a colorful new way to organize everything you plan, along with smarter recurring items, a simpler family page, and a batch of fixes across the app.

Snug Planner is now on iPhone and iPad

The Snug Planner iOS app is officially available in the Apple App Store. Plan your days, manage your To-dos and keep the whole household in sync, right from your iPhone or iPad, with push notifications included.

Labels

You can now add colored labels like Errand, School or Health to your tasks, appointments and to-dos.

Create them on the spot while editing any item, or manage them all from the new Labels page.

  • Label chips show up everywhere: on your boards, To-do lists, Home and the schedule.
  • Filter your lists by label to quickly find what you need.
  • AI assistants connected to Snug understand labels too, so you can ask them to tag and organize items for you.

More control over recurring items

Deleting a recurring task or appointment now offers a third choice: this and future occurrences, next to deleting just one occurrence or the whole series. And when you delete a series, occurrences you edited separately are kept instead of disappearing with it. Edited occurrences also keep the files attached to the original.

A simpler family page and a tidier menu

Family settings and members now live on one clean page, reachable directly from the menu, with contacts, saved places and labels grouped under a new Manage section. Renaming your family shows up instantly for everyone, no refresh needed.

Fixes and improvements

  • Duplicating a task, appointment or To-do now copies its attached files along with it.
  • Images pasted from your clipboard into notes are now stored as real files instead of being embedded in the text.
  • Renaming a file preselects the name and protects the file extension.
  • Fixed rare cases where the app could get stuck endlessly reloading or bouncing back to the sign-in page.
  • Fixed a crash in the notes editor caused by certain pasted text.
  • Fixed an incorrect unsaved-changes warning when closing items you had not edited.
  • Grayed-out text is now easier to read in both light and dark mode.
  • Plus visual and stability improvements throughout the app.
